The Gift of Life Project

The Gift of Life Project is a collaborative program that encourages women in the Washington, DC, area to be proactive about their breast health.If you are insured, your mammogram will give the gift of life to a woman who lacks insurace. Visit Capital Breast Care Center for your mammogram and have the opportunity to win several prizes to enliven the body and spirit.*

*The American Cancer Society recommends annual mammograms for women over age 40; women in their 20s and 30s should have a clinical breast exam (CBE) as part of a periodic (regular) health exam by a health professional preferably every 3 years.
